About this guide
Privacy
A plain description of what this site collects, which is very little, and what third parties can see.
This is a reading site. You do not need an account to use it, and it asks for no personal details unless you choose to write to the editors.
What we collect
The site itself sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising and loads no analytics or tracking scripts of our own. We do not collect names, email addresses or health details through the pages. The contact form does not send anything to us by itself. It opens your email program with a message addressed to the editors, and nothing is sent until you send it. Please keep medical details out of any message.
What third parties see
Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider, and ordinary technical request data such as your IP address and browser type passes through it. The page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so the font provider receives a standard request when a page opens. The home page also includes an embedded Google Map, which loads from Google when you reach that part of the page and is handled under Google's own terms and cookie practices. We do not control how these providers treat technical data, and their own policies describe it.
If you write to us
If you email the editors, we use your address only to reply and to correct a page where you have found a mistake. We do not add anyone to a mailing list and we do not sell or share messages. The contact page explains what we can and cannot help with.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page changes with it. The about page explains who runs the site, and the editorial standards explain how pages are sourced.
The short version
No accounts, no advertising, no analytics of our own. Fonts and one embedded map come from third parties, and nothing leaves your device through the contact form until you send it yourself.
